Ukraine: Exporters applies all their efforts to complete shipping out barley lots accumulated in ports

Due to feed barley export quotes introduction approaching, exporters (already experienced in wheat export licensing) applied all their efforts to complete shipping out barley lots accumulated in ports, Agro Perspectiva stated in its weekly report “Ukrainian Grain Market” on December 4th. At the same time many export market participants have totally stopped elevators barley purchasing, being afraid of feed barley quoting introduction problems.

Exporters purchase prices for barley ranged within UAH780–795 per MT, CPT port. US$ prices were US$140–150 per MT (FOB)/US$122–132 per MT (CPT port).
